Individual therapy is the process in which you, the client, meet with me, the therapist, for typically 50 minutes at a frequency decided upon together (typically weekly or every other week). Therapy can be short-term or long-term. The client and therapist work together early on to establish the goal(s), and how we would know therapy is no longer needed.
For some, therapy is about the here and now. For others, therapy may involve considering past experiences or situations that still impact the way we see things today. In both scenarios, the goal of therapy is to support you in identifying what your wants are, how you could get there, and the steps to take should you feel ready. You know yourself the best, I simply strive to help you sort out whatever is in the way.
I provide family therapy or couples therapy on a case by case basis. Sometimes these are one-time or short-term additions to individual therapy. Other times, it is the primary form of therapy. There are specific situations and dynamics which must be factored into and considered by families and couples pursuing therapy. After an introductory conversation about your wants and needs, we can assess together what makes the most sense for your situation.
As an independently licensed clinician in MA with experience as both a provider and supervisor, I am available for individual supervision to professionals in the field based on training or personal needs.
I am also available to host webinars for groups or businesses looking for trainings or presentations on things such as stress management, parenting, and other varied topics.
Please reach out if you have any interest in either of these services. I would be happy to hear about your needs, and either identify a way we can work together or share resources for your search should I not be the best option.
As a dog lover and lifelong animal advocate, I understand the powerful emotional and practical support animals can offer. In Massachusetts, there are specific legal and clinical requirements for obtaining documentation related to the use of an animal to assist with a mental health disability.
I offer structured evaluation options to help determine your eligibility for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) or Service Animal letter. If appropriate, I can provide the necessary documentation following a thorough assessment process.
Please note: ESA and Service Animal evaluations, including consultations and documentation, are not covered by insurance and are billed as private-pay services.
If you're considering this path, I’d be happy to discuss the process and help determine the best option for your needs. Contact me to learn more or schedule a consultation.
Sessions range from $120-$150 depending on type of session.
Supervision is $75 per hour.
Webinar pricing depends on the length and content and will be discussed upfront.
I believe mental health services and supervision should be accessible to all who want to fully engage. I offer reduced fees for individuals who: are enrolled in a higher education institute/program or trade school, have active MassHealth as their primary insurance, or individuals who receive other state benefits (SNAP, WIC, SSI/SSDI, etc), and/or who are uninsured. If you identify as someone in this list, or have a specific circumstance you feel prevents you from accessing therapy, I am always willing to have an honest conversation about the possibility of working together.
I accept credit cards (a fee may apply), cash, or check. I only accept Venmo or PayPal with a signed authorization as these are not confidential methods.
